Brazil Rio Olympic Football Championship 2016

The association football tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics is scheduled to be held from 3 to 20 August in Brazil.
In addition to the Olympic host city of Rio de Janeiro, matches will also be played in Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Salvador, Sao Paulo, and Manaus. All six cities hosted matches during the 2014 World Cup, with the Estádio Olímpico João Havelange in Rio the only Olympic venue not to have been a World Cup venue. Associations affiliated with FIFA may send teams to participate in the football championship. Men's teams are restricted to under-23 players (born on or after 1 January 1993) with a maximum of three overage players allowed, while there are no age restrictions on women's teams. |
It has been 4 years since the last summer Olympic and Paralympic games, with the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic games coming up soon it is now the time to buy your country's flag and to show it off. This years games are being held in Rio, Brazil for the first time for the country. Work has been ongoing for a while now and will soon be ready for when the games start on August the 5th. The games will last 17 days and will include many varying sports so many different people will be interested in watching and supporting their country by purchasing a flag and displaying it for others to see. Time will only tell which countries will win which medals at this years Olympics and Paralympics games. |
